How can I make a scanned paper's writing larger/clearer?

I scanned a paper that I need to send to a friend, but the writing shows up small and unclear. It helps to use the magnification tool, but I don't know how to make it stay like that. Help? Thank youu.How can I make a scanned paper's writing larger/clearer?
the writing is acutally big. just the paper in general does not fit across the screen. you can crop the picture and the words will be a little bigger, but you should keep using the magnification tool.How can I make a scanned paper's writing larger/clearer?
Can you try scanning it at a higher resolution?
most scanners have tools that will allow you to increas the size of what you are copying! Simply look around in the scanners options or properties and find something that says anything about resolution or better picture or best pictures. sometimes it'll say black and white/ color/ pictures something like that and choose the picture one! You should be able to magnify it as well!
