How to take crisp clear photos of papers documents with camera?

I have a canon sd500





and i would like to kknow how to take better pictures of paper documents





because when I try to do it, they come out blurry and unreadable.How to take crisp clear photos of papers documents with camera?
There are a couple possible things causing the blurriness. You might be too close for the focus to work properly. You could be too close for the flash to expose properly. If you're not using the flash, you could be getting motion blur.





An SLR would be better for copying documents, but there might be things you can do. If you have a tripod, that will help. Set your camera up to be parallel to the document. Don't have it too close. Farther away will prevent blur from being too close for the focus or flash. You can always zoom in your lens. And the tripod will prevent motion blur if your flash is off.





The text might not be enough of a contrast for your camera to auto focus properly. If you're still having problems focusing, try putting something on the text to focus on, but move it out of the way when you hit the shutter. This will take practice, and maybe a helper.
