The history of our nation since its beginning can cast light on these seemingly bewildering issues of the present. I need to better understand the connection between historical events and current political economic and social institutions. There is no way I can even begin to it justice here.

The nation was establish like no other and it is hard to find a reference point or something to compare it too.





This country was started by businessman who were out for a profit. They didn't like being told what to do by a king.





This country also was made up of people brought here as slaves who work their way out to establish their own land.





This country also was the dumping ground for the British with people they didn't want in their country.





This country had people coming here to establish Freedom OF Religion and were using the Bible as the primary text book to teach children.





Put all that in a blender and you got Americans.





We are mutts. The world has been trying to figure us out since.
