I'm filling in a college application, a little help please?

it says for my work experience, what type of work did i do...


i worked in a nursery - so far all i wrote is ';i supervised young children, prepared snacks and meals, answered phone calls, helped staff.


i don't know what else to say and how to put it in a good sentence





2.it also says please indicate your reasons for choosing your course, i chose psychology and sociology because i want to become a psychologist or counsellor but what should i say that will impress them and make them see that i have goals and ambitions

During my work experience employment as a Nursery Assistant , my duties included the supervision of young children within the nursery , the responsibility for their safety , entertainment role , food preparation including basic hygiene awareness , administrative duties within the nursery , communication between departments , staff and parents , assisted staff in Education and lesson preparation .


Psychology is my favoured subject as I have a natural inclination towards its' syllabus ( or content ) and feel strongly about pursuing a career within Psychology to fulfill my ambition of attaining a position of Counsellor or Psychologist .

Well for number 1 it sounds pretty good. Instead of ';helped staff'; say ';assisted fellow staff members'; and sometimes you can google for different ways to say your staff duties.





2..well WHY do you want to be a psychologist? You want to help people in their lives? You want to help people acquire the skills and abilities needed to succeed in their lives...sometimes it just takes talking and guidance to get there. Psychologists not only listen but, they help people develop successful habits and abilities to be a more sucessful person...so...explain WHY you want to do that. What are your goals?
