there is a trap door on the back of the printer. Open it up and remove the remaining paper.How to clear a paper jam in ';hp deskjet 5160'; Printer? pls advice sooooon?
First of all, for future jams, use 2 hands to remove ANY sheet of paper stuck ina printer, pull gently and firmly, but most importantly smoothly and evenly.


Paper will not tear easily if pulled straight and smoothly, if you jerk it / pull at an angle it will tear.
