I am being involuntarily separated from the military. How long will it take after i get my clearing papers? Will I get any kind of separation pay? When being involuntarily separated from the military how long does it take to clear after getting your papers.
Ask your First Sergeant, he'll know better than anyone. If you've been a real annoyance and your commander wants you gone in a hurry they CAN have you out-processed and out the main gate in a day. When being involuntarily separated from the military how long does it take to clear after getting your papers.
Up to 60 days after it is verified you are not in debt to the service in any way. For example, if you received any kind of bonus you will have to repay that with your pay or your future income taxes.
I've outprocessed Soldiers in one day. The pay is dependent on if you owe the military any money. Usually an involuntary separation doesn't receive any money. Check with your 1SG, or PAC on that one.
24yrs in Service and still serving
The military's motto is: hurry up and wait. It takes forever. I have a friend who is a Sgt.in the military, I can ask her but she's not home right now. If you accept emails I'll get back to you on the pay business. Are you in the US or Overseas??
took my hubby 3 days to clear... they gave him 2 weeks....lol. He says to call personnel to see if you're eligible for sep pay. Will depend on years in and rank
