When I try to print it will tell me I have a PAPER JAM or mis-feed, what is wrong? it is CLEAR.?

I have a PSC 1610 all in one HP Printer, it tells me everytime I try to print a page/ document that, I have a paper jam or misfeed, I clean out the back and there is nothing there, I have went thru the troubleshooting and it doesn't seem to help. It won't even PULL the paper into it, I don't use it often but, when I do, it will not Feed the paper through..I can copy and that works fine but, not to actually print something.. It isn't even a YEAR old, we bought it in march of '06. What do I need to do to get it to work right? I have taken it into staples where we live and wouldn't you know, the D*** thing works for them.. I am considering calling and telling them (H.P.) I have a DEFECTIVE UNIT.. hi paper jam is the most common errore that users get ,often if u dont place paper in the right tray it will errore no paper ,when it says paper jam most it meens some thing is on the way of paper from feeder (tray) to the out ,the prnters often with two trick let u easy to find out if the way is clear or not ,1- i think u know how u can change printer cartridge ,remove the cartridge (tuner ) from its place and check if below it can u see the paper that jammed in the way ,if u saw ,then easy pull out the paper ,often behind of printers u will find a big plastic lock screw ,may be with size of buttom of one cup ,that u can turn it to open ,after that its cover will out and it will show u the other part of paper way that its back of printer,if u wanted more thing ,send message to me to talk more on itWhen I try to print it will tell me I have a PAPER JAM or mis-feed, what is wrong? it is CLEAR.?
yes, unfortunately its jammed.
Check to see if the ajuster,that slider for deferent size paper is


in wrong place . I do that myself replace paper and try again.
