i'm looking for the most cost-efficient way to make my finished project glossy. Is there a clear glossy paint or coating i could use, whats it called and where can i find it?I'm working on a big paper mache project and i'm looking for a clear glossy coating? what type?
I like Ultra Glaze which is a non yellowing polyurethane clear protective spray that you can get at the craft store like Michaels. It gives such a high gloss finish that it appears like ceramic that has been fired with one coat.I'm working on a big paper mache project and i'm looking for a clear glossy coating? what type?
If it's too big for Mod Podge, I have had good luck with wallpaper paste. I buy the powder and just mix up as much as I need.

OK, so you came *here* to get your answer (hence the name, Yahoo!Answers. . . *NOT* ';go to Google';. . .)
I just made a paper project and finished it with some Mod Podge from Hobby Lobby. It comes in a couple of different lusters, including glossy. http://www.save-on-crafts.com/modpodglos鈥?/a> And although it goes on looking like school glue, it dries to a very shiny, clear finish!
Another thing you might try is a resin spray: http://www.createforless.com/products/pr鈥?/a>
The spray might be less messy, and you could just hang your project from a beam or bar and spray all sides.
Best of luck!
