I'm reffering to the UK and specifically the upcoming Scottish Parliment elections.
Many people are going on about just spoiling you paper becasue if over 40% of ballot papers are returned spoiled then the rest of the votes won't count. Or something like that. There are a lot of stories going around regarding this!
I won't be spoiling my ballot paper, I'll be using my vote properly like I'd urge everyone to do but I was just wanting this cleared up!Can someone clear something up for me about spoiling your ballot paper?
Since you have no answers I am going to wade in where I don't belong. But to me that would be a poor form of protest, it would be cutting your nose to spite your face. Elections are about choosing and by wasting a vote it is not choosing. .
