i am 36 weeks today. i know that i could lose my muscus plug and still carry him for a few more weeks. but i was wandering if i could possibly be loosing it. when i went to the bathroom a few minutes ago and i wiped..it looked like clear snot in my underwear. Clear looking snot in toilet paper when i wipe. Am i losing my mucus plug?
It sounds like it could be but Im not an expert. I've heard though that it does look like clear snot. Has there been more of it? Ive also read that you could lose your plug and, as you said, still take weeks to go into labor. Its just your body getting ready. Its exciting though!!Clear looking snot in toilet paper when i wipe. well funny I should be answering this. I just lost a little bit of my mucus plug today and it was snotty like and it was kinda yellow and had these red little lines running threw it. (kinda looked like veins but red )
but if its your mucus plug dont freak out. i did. lol and my doctor said it was just getting closer for me to have the baby.

From what I have read and been told, the mucus plug will not be clear. It will be yellow with pink and it will be A LOT. Clear discharge is pretty normal throughout pregnancy.
