Im wondering if anyone has every tried this.. Im looking for a cheaper alternative than using clear Avery lables to print journalling on for cards and scrapbooking.Has anyone ever tried to put clear con-tact paper through a printer? Either ink jet or laser?
CASE 1: INKJET PRINTER: Don't try to do this on regular clear transparency labels. Look for ones that specifically state that they are for inkjet printers. Doing this on the wrong ones can make a huge mess and damage the printer.
CASE 2: LASER PRINTER: Any type will generally work fine. If you have trouble, go get ones that specifically state they're for laser printers. Either way, you won't damage the printer.Has anyone ever tried to put clear con-tact paper through a printer? Either ink jet or laser?
There are transparencies for overheads that can be put through a printer, look for the labels...
