What is the crystal clear product that paper weights are made of?

where can you buy it and about how much for what volume? What is the crystal clear product that paper weights are made of?
Most paperweights these days are made of acrylic glass, (also known as plexiglass, Lucite, Perspex %26amp; other brand names. It's a polymer blend substance, usually sold in sheets, tubes, rods and films that can be cut, melted, laser-carved, Super-Glued, and is break-resistant, and relatively much cheaper than glass. It is produced not only in clear sheets, but also in colors, and is available in a large variety of sizes and prices both retail %26amp; wholesale.

While I'm unable to give you a breakdown of costs or specific websites, a thorough websearch of acrylic glass producers %26amp; dealers (including plastic producers) ought to turn up the information you're looking for.

If you're looking to produce a specific paperweight containing a photo or small items, you may also be able to find manufacturers that can sell you a photo-block, or custom make a paperweight for you. What is the crystal clear product that paper weights are made of?
I believe it's acrylic, but not for sure. Why not buy a paper weight, I did at Coldwater Creek clothing store, it was $6.00 for a polished stone that has ';smile'; engraved in it. We use it at work for a paper weight at the drive up window of a bank.
