I just bought a 2nd gen iPod Touch, and there is a clear piece of smooth paper on the screen of it...?

It could be a screen protector if you want it to be. Its not lame to leave it on. Although, if you want a screen protector that bad, and have to have one... I recommend paying for better ones because you can leave that on but it will eventually some off soon.
You can peel if off if you want. The screen on the iPod Touch is scratch resistant.

It'll probably protect but not last for very long. It's not meant to be there permanently so a minor scratch will probably tear it. Consider investing in a better screen cover.
They get scratched pretty easily... so I would advise keeping it on.


If it gets annoying, they have skins that go all around because they scratch REALLY EASILY!!!
