I've already tried jamming a 30 inch hanger down the pipe and that hasn't helped at all. I was wondering if there is any product that eats away at blockages in the drain that can help me in this situation? There is supposedly some stiff bounty paper towels stuck in there. Is there anyway to solve this problem without spending all of my savings on a plumber? Is there anything that can clear up a blockage of paper towels in a toilet?
If u don't want to spend any money on a plumber and u don't have the resources to clear that line. All I can say is use a bucket and hopefully ur neighbor let u dump the can in their toilet. What else can I say. I'm a Plumber and if u used a augar and it don't work. That means it's more serious than u think it is. Now take the toilet out to see if the 4'; pipe clogged up. It's at the elbow and it's deeper. So do that and u might get it cleared. Don't forget to buy a new wax ring and scrap up the old one. If that still don't work...call a plumber or go to Home Depot and rent a sewer snake and do it right. $45. for a 4 hour rental. With a credit card deposit. Is there anything that can clear up a blockage of paper towels in a toilet?
Try using a toilet plunger, snaking it, or a toilet drain cleaner.
I can't help but wonder why you would put towels down the toilet but I think you may need a plumber.
your are going to have to rent a drian cleaner get one that has a retrieving bit with it paper towells will not disolve and will clog your sewer line
I would use a toilet auger. Dont put chemicals in the drain they only fix very small clogs.
Rent a rodding set, or call our Dynarod. In future, when you run out of toilet tissue don't use kitchen paper.
Just try Drain-O it isn't that expensive
